Congrats to Crain’s Cleveland Business honoree – Brittany Wampler!
Brittany Wampler, CSU’s director of pre-professional health programs, has been recognized as a 2020 ‘Forty Under 40’ honoree by Crain’s Cleveland Business for her passion guiding undergraduate students on their journey into competitive health programs, such as medical school.
In the Crain’s article, Meredith Bond, dean of the College of Sciences and Health Professions, describes Wampler as a go-getter who is always one step ahead of everybody, making connections, fostering ideas and elevating opportunities for student success.
Once the only employee in the pre-professional health programs office, Wampler, 38, has since dug in and facilitated programs and workshops, connecting students with volunteer and research activities and hired a staff member to help with these endeavors.
Wampler has truly built the pre-professional health program from the ground up and continues to work closely with students as they tick-off prerequisite courses, build resumes, prepare for entrance exams and ultimately turn CSU degrees into lasting careers.
